THE CROW AND THE FOX
IL CORVO E LA VOLPE

One day a crow was standing on a tree holding a piece of cheese in his mouth.

A fox came by and when she saw him she said: "What beautiful shining feathers you have! You are really handsome, if you can also sing you are certainly the most beautiful bird in the world."

The crow heard himself being praised, when he opened the mouth to sing the cheese fell on the ground.

The fox grabbed the cheese and went away.
