A COWBELL

Even this object is not typical only of Abruzzo, since we find it everywhere in our peninsula, and particularly in the regions where there is cattle raising.

Besides, it is more difficult to find it in our region, since the habitants of Fallo raised sheep and goats rather than cows.

The object shown is forged in a rather primitive manner (one can easily see the several pieces that form it), but it served the purpose: to indicate the location where the herd was.

It seems, among other things, that this cowbell is particularly old since it was discovered inside an old barrel about to be burned by a young girl who is now a nonagenarian.
