Even if not of the best quality, we gladly publish this picture which shows a couple on the wedding day. At the time when it was taken, they used to get married young, and often the wedding was followed by the young bridegroom's departure in search of better working conditions. The most sought destination was naturally America. In this case, however, the bridegroom had just returned from the New Continent, and obviously, after the wedding left again, leaving in the village the young wife to whom he would send once in a while besides money, even some pictures.
