It is a "precious" picture of many years ago. The balcony is the one that still opens on the Viale della Rimembranza, one of the principal streets of the town. Now no one appears on that balcony, but once (and who doesn't remember it?) from the open windows of the house one could hear old melodies played on 78 records. It was there that lived a person well known to all for his courageous exploits as an alpine soldier, and who was summoned every time it was necessary to prune a poplar tree or gather fruits from particularly tall trees.
