THE FEAST OF MADONNA DEL SOCCORSO 2004 Even the Madonna del Soccorso
counts many faithful in the community of our town. The statue of the
virgin, a precious and secular find jealously kept in the Church dedicated
to her, is supported in procession by the women who, as the men do in
the day dedicated to St. Vincenzo, alternate themselves in this task.
The "festa" of the Madonna is observed the day after the day dedicated
to the patron saint. |
