| GROUP OF WOMEN WITH LITTLE GIRLS Beautiful picture of excellent quality. It shows two women and a group of young girls one of whom is a little older. It is very difficult to identify the place where the picture was taken, but in the background on the left is visible a sheep intent to graze.On the right, there is probably the entrance door of some house, and shown on the lower right is an iron used to scrape the bottom of the shoes (see this object and description in the section "Objects of Abruzzo").Last, particularly interesting is the bunch of flowers held in the hand of the young girl which interrupts the flowing of the pleats of the dress of the older girl. |
