AN ALPINE SOLDIER

Beautiful souvenir picture of a paesano who served in the Alpine Brigade in Gorizia.

He was born in Fallo (he had an uncle who had emigrated to the New Continent, in Virginia). In the Second World War he was taken prisoner and taken to New Jersey, and after the war he returned to Italy, in Florence.
