CHEF OF THE YEAR - Emilio Salomone, executive chef of the Other

Place Restaurant on Dougall Road, has been named Chef of the Year by

the Windsor Association of Chefs de Cuisine. The award goes to the chef

who has contributed most to organization and the profession during

the previous year. Salomone, 46, has been working in a kitchen since he

was 14 years old. He left his native Italy in 1968 and immediately settled

in Windsor where he has been showing off his talents for the past two de-

cades. When asked the most important quality in a good chef, Salamone

replied, "you must do it with love".

Place Restaurant di Dougall Road, è stato nominato Chef dell'anno dal

"Windsor Association Chefs de Cuisine". Tale premio è assegnato allo chef

che si è distinto, durante l'anno precedente, nella migliore organizzazione del lavoro
